Subject: Using compare_report to Compare AIX Levels Betwen Servers

It's easier to manage a group of servers when the AIX levels are consistent. You can easily check consistency using the compare_report command. It takes the "lslpp -Lc" outputs of two servers and creates a differences report. It can also compare a server AIX level to an fix or lpp_source directory.
