.EYE OF HORUS Eye of Horus ------------ When 'Press Fire to Start' enter 'SPAM' for the cheat mode. DOESN'T WORK You will have unlimited lives and will not need the colored keys for elevators. EYE OF HORUS VERSION 1.2 1/92 Thank you for trying EYE OF HORUS. It is a fast-paced, action-packed, colorful arcade game that promotes eye/hand coordination as well as carpal tunnel syndrome. A mouse and EGA graphics mode are required. It is also my first shareware release. If you like it, please register it for $5: John Shramko P.O. Box 20480 Newark, NJ 07101 Constructive feedback also appreciated. How to play levels 1-3: Move the weapon left and right by moving the mouse. Fire by pressing the left mouse button. Circles will grow and then shrink. Just as they disappear, a triangular area under the circle is illuminated. If you are in that area you lose a life. You must try to shoot the circle while it is growing. The sooner you shoot it the more points you get. Sometimes a circle has such a short life that all you see is the triangle. In this circumstance there is little you can do to avoid dying. At the end of each level you are awarded 5 more lives. How to play levels 4-7: Same as above, but triangular blocks move between your weapon and the circles. They block your firing as well as shield you from the circle. If you shoot a block, you lose 1000 points. How to play levels 8-24: Same as above, but a red circle thing with a blue death ray moves slowly across the screen. If the blue ray touches your weapon, you lose bulk points. You cannot kill it, but you may shoot through it in order to kill a circle. After each level, the area covered by a circle's triangle gets larger. The circles live shorter lives, so the game slowly moves from attack to defence. You will spend more time under the blocks instead of shooting circles. After level 24: Your final score will be shown. After pressing a key, a fancy screen-saver type of display appears. Press any key to quit. Note: I have shown it as level 24 above, but it may be 25, I'm not really sure.
