To start: DIEHARD.BAT

Object of the game: who knows???  I think you have to kill the terrorists,
visit the computer room, get onto the roof where hostages are, go through
vents, open 7 locks, and kill the ringleader (probably not in that order).
I got this info by sticky-beaking in the EXE file.  You can get first aid,
but I don't know how to make use of the first aid box.

Stripe at lower right is your health
Inventory is underneath, number of bullets next to each weapon

Keys:  Again, who knows ???

G       Get out/put away gun
E       Exit
F       Puts up an 'EXIT' sign on the 386 and freezes computer
P       Paused (that's what it says)
Enter   Pick up gun at start of game, acknowledge your death at end of game.
Arrows  Move about

When the game starts, the arrows move you forward, back and sideways.
By manipulating the shift and down keys, you can change the arrows to
move forward, turn left, turn right, turn around.  When you do this,
the gun (see below) can't be used.

In the first set of moves, you press space to fire the gun, the arrows then
move your arm left or right, you can duck or roll forward.  If the gun is put
away, then you are in a fistfight.

At the start, press Enter just as the DIE HARD screen comes up, to begin
playing.  After you die you must wait about 60 seconds before Enter gets you
out.   Freezes the 386.

It's very confusing, cumbersome & unwieldy.  I don't see how you could move
fast enough to complete the mission.   One of the most hopeless games I've
ever encountered.

CHEATS (TO BE CONFIRMED)      SINCE 'ESC' DOESN'T DO ANYTHING, NONE OF THESE WORKED

Regular Codes:
In any of the three games press Esc to pause.
Press (and hold) the R and 2 keys. Keep them down!
Right and left stands for right arrow key,left arrow key, and so on.
When the code is typed in correctly, release the R and 2 keys, and the game should unpause.

Die Hard

right, up, down, down, E, right       change guns (repeat as necessary)
