To use the distance measuring equipment (DME) on the 747 panel, press SHIFT+TAB
until the NAV1-NAV2-DME display appears. The DME panel shows your distance from
the VOR and your speed toward or away from the VOR. Below the DME gauge is an
indicator of which navigation radio is being used to measure for distance. Press
B to toggle between NAV1 and NAV2.
