SYMPTOMS
========
If you attempt to run an MS-DOS application in a window when you are using the
RVGA 2 video card from Renaissance, Microsoft Windows version 3.0 may stop
responding (hang). The MS-DOS application works correctly in full- screen mode.
RESOLUTION
==========
Renaissance is aware of this problem and has created a patch to correct this
behavior. The file you need is WIN30FIX.EXE. Before you load Windows 3.0,
execute this file. You can run this file at the MS-DOS prompt or execute it in
the AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
You can obtain this file by downloading it from Renaissance's Bulletin Board at
(425) 454-0511 or by calling its technical support number (800) 422-7369. Ask
for the RVGA 2 video card patch to correct the problem of MS-DOS applications
running incorrectly in a window under Windows 3.0, and they will mail you the
WIN30FIX.EXE file.
