Doing a network installation of Microsoft Windows with the SETUP /N
command does not create a SYSTEM subdirectory.

When you install Microsoft Windows on a Local Area Network (LAN) using
the SETUP /N command, the Setup program prompts you for a drive and
path name. This creates a user directory on the network drive with all
the needed files, including files that normally appear in the SYSTEM
subdirectory of a single-user installation.
