SYMPTOMS

If you are running a 256-color wallpaper selection in Microsoft Windows version
3.0 and start Lotus 1-2-3 for Windows, the wallpaper image becomes dithered.
Once you exit Lotus 1-2-3 for Windows, the image may reappear in its original
form.
WORKAROUND

Use a 16-color wallpaper bitmap image.
