SYMPTOMS
========

When composing a message in version 3.0, 3.0b, or 3.2 of Microsoft Mail for
Windows, if you enter information in the TO: field, choose to resolve the name,
double-click the resolved name and then enter 30 characters in the name field,
you may get an error message indicating that there has been a fault in 8514.DRV.

CAUSE
=====

This is a problem in the display driver (DISPLAY.DRV) which occurs only on
machines using an 8514 display driver.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in versions 3.0, 3.0b, and 3.2 of
Microsoft Mail for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
