The following is the procedure to delete unwanted queries in Bookshelf for the
Macintosh.

1. Quit Bookshelf.

2. Open the System Folder on the hard drive.

3. Open the Preferences folder.

4. Locate the file called Bookshelf 1996-97 Preferences (or Bookshelf '95 Pref,
  or Bookshelf 1994 Pref).

5. Drag this file to the trash can and empty the trash.

6. Restart Bookshelf.

All of the words on the Backlist are deleted.

NOTE: The Bookshelf Preferences file will be re-created when Bookshelf is
restarted.
