SYMPTOMS
========

If you press the ALT+TAB, ALT+ENTER, or ALT+ESC key combination repeatedly while
you are running a high-resolution MS-DOS-based graphics program, you may
experience either of the following symptoms:

- The display becomes garbled or unintelligible.

- You receive the following error message:

  This application cannot be restored and will be terminated.

CAUSE
=====

This is a known problem that can occur if you press any of the key combinations
listed above repeatedly.


RESOLUTION
==========

Do not press ALT+TAB, ALT+ENTER, or ALT+ESC repeatedly while you are running a
high-resolution MS-DOS-based graphics program.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 95. We are
researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft
Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
