SYMPTOMS
========

TCP/IP generates echo frames with the loopback address (127.0.0.1) as the source
address.

CAUSE
=====

You sent an echo request with the host's network media access control (MAC)
address and the TCP/IP loopback address as the destination address.

RESOLUTION
==========

To correct this problem, install the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT
version 3.51.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.51. This
problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT
