Shortcuts that you create from your Printers folder work only on your computer.

RESOLUTION
==========

To create a printer shortcut that other people can use on their computers,
follow these steps:

1. Find the print server in Network Neighborhood.

2. Double-click the print server to view its resources.

3. Use the right mouse button to click the shared printer icon, then click
  Create Shortcut on the menu that appears.
