SYMPTOMS
========

When you perform a warm undocking operation for a portable computer docked to a
main computer that is connected to a network and is running Microsoft Exchange
Mail Client, the computer seems to stop responding (hangs), generates a general
protection fault, or generates another type of fatal error.

CAUSE
=====

The Microsoft Exchange Mail Client does not handle dynamic hardware correctly
and may generate errors when you perform docking operation.

RESOLUTION
==========

Close Microsoft Exchange, perform the docking operation, and then restart
Microsoft Exchange.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 95. We are
researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft
Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
