SUMMARY

It is possible to define the order of QuickShelf buttons on the Toolbar. If you
add buttons individually, the first button appears at the far left. Additional
buttons are placed sequentially to the right.

To customize your Bookshelf buttons, use the instructions below for your version
of Bookshelf

Defining Button Order in Bookshelf 1994 and 1995
------------------------------------------------

To define the button order in Bookshelf for Windows, 1994 and 1995 editions, do
the following:

1. Click the QuickShelf button (black, downward-pointing arrow) at the far right
  of the Toolbar.

2. Click Customize, and then click the Toolbar tab.

3. Make sure only one book or feature is selected.

4. Click OK.

  NOTE: The button you have selected should appear on the left of the Toolbar
  and the QuickShelf button on the right.

5. Again, click the QuickShelf button.

6. Click Customize.

7. Select the book or feature you want as the next Toolbar button.

8. Click OK.

  NOTE: You should now see the new button you have selected to the right of the
  original button chosen.

9. Follow steps 6-8 to add additional buttons. Each new button appears to the
  right of the previous selection.

To set the QuickShelf buttons to match the order in which the books appear in
Bookshelf, select the following options in the order listed:

  All Books
  Dictionary
  Thesaurus
  Quotations
  Encyclopedia
  Atlas
  Chronology
  Almanac

To define the button order in Bookshelf '95 for Windows 95, do the following:

1. Click the Quickshelf icon (to the left of the word Quickshelf) on the
  Toolbar.

2. Click Customize, and then click the Buttons tab.

3. Make sure only one book or feature is selected.

4. Click OK.

  NOTE: The button you have selected should appear on the Toolbar.

5. Again, click the QuickShelf icon.

6. Click Customize, and then click the Buttons tab.

7. Select the book or feature you want as the next Toolbar button.

8. Click OK.

  NOTE: You should now see the new button you have selected to the right of the
  original button chosen.

9. Follow steps 6-8 to add additional buttons. Each new button appears to the
  right of the previous selection.
