SYMPTOMS
========

When you make changes to Bookshelf '95 QuickShelf settings such as Location or
Customized, the new settings are not saved when you restart or shut down
Microsoft Windows 95/98.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Bookshelf '95 for
Windows 95 running in Windows 95/98 and Windows NT 3.51.

This problem has been resolved in Microsoft Bookshelf '96-'97 for Windows.

NOTE: QuickShelf 1996-97 does not include the AutoHide feature.

RESOLUTION
==========

To work around this issue, quit QuickShelf before you restart or shut down
Windows 95/98.

To quit QuickShelf, follow these steps:

1. Click the QuickShelf icon located in the upper-left corner of QuickShelf
  toolbar.

2. Click Exit.

NOTE: You only have to perform these steps one time to save QuickShelf in the
desired location. You can now exit Windows normally and QuickShelf remains in
the new location.
