SYMPTOMS
========
NOTE: The examples in this article assume your CD-ROM drive is drive D.
If you install Bookshelf '95 for Windows 95 from the stand-alone version compact
disc and then attempt to run Bookshelf from the Microsoft Works and Bookshelf
compact disc, you receive the following message:
Please insert the Bookshelf '95 disc in the CD-ROM drive. If the drive letter
shown below is not the correct drive, please change it.
Drive: D:\
The problem also occurs if you install Bookshelf from the Microsoft Works and
Bookshelf 95 compact disc and then try to run the program from the Bookshelf
stand-alone version compact disc.
In this case, you receive the following error message:
Please Insert the Bookshelf '95 disc in the CD-ROM drive. If the drive letter
shown below is not the correct drive, please change it.
Drive: D:\Books95
<where D is letter of your CD-ROM drive>
RESOLUTION
==========
CD-ROM path entries are made to the Windows 95 registry. To correct the registry
information, use the Windows 95 Add/Remove Programs feature to remove and
reinstall the program that is generating the error message.
