SYMPTOMS
========

When you are at the command prompt of a virtual DOS machine (VDM) on a Windows
NT 3.51 and try to rename a file across the network, the following error message
appears:

  ACCESS DENIED

This symptom only occurs on Windows NT 3.51.

WORKAROUND
==========

To work around this problem, rename the file from within File Manager.

RESOLUTION
==========

This problem has been corrected in the latest Service Pack for Windows NT
version 3.51.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.51. This
problem was corrected in the latest Windows NT 3.51 U.S. Service Pack. For
