SYMPTOMS

When you run Readers Digest Complete Do It Yourself Guide, on Windows NT you do
not hear any audio.

This occurs if the Windows NT Audio Compression Manager is not installed.

RESOLUTION
==========

Install the Audio Compression Manager.

To install the Audio Compression Manager, do the following:

1. Double-click Control Panel.

2. Click Drivers.

3. Click Add, and then install the Microsoft Audio Compression Manager from the
  list provided.

4. Click OK.
