SYMPTOMS
========

If you are accessing Bookshelf '96-'97 over a network connection and you are
using it when a network connection loss occurs, you receive an "illegal
operation" message with details similar to the following:

  BSHELF96 caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL

CAUSE
=====

Bookshelf is designed primarily to run from a local CD-ROM drive. If a network
connection is used instead, any loss of network connection may cause an error in
Bookshelf.

RESOLUTION
==========

Do not disconnect from the network while running Bookshelf. If network
connection is lost, exit or shut down Windows and restart the computer.
