SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to send a message via a Microsoft Exchange RAS Connector and
the Phone Book Entry field of the connector's property page contains a Chinese
character, the message will remain in the Microsoft Exchange Message Transfer
Agent (MTA) and will not be delivered to the recipient.

WORKAROUND
==========

Replace the Chinese character with an English character.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange version 4.0.
We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the
Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
