SYMPTOMS
========

When a chat session is established, an extra character (y with an umlaut)
appears at the client, following every extended character. Letters typed on one
computer get changed to different letters and different cases on the other
computer. This problem appears in French, Spanish, and U.S. versions, and also
appears on U.S. Microsoft Systems Management Server on U.S. Windows NT Server
with localized settings.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Systems Management
Server version 1.2. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service
Pack for Systems Management Server version 1.2. For information on obtaining the
