- To start Microsoft Exchange services, at the command prompt, type "net start
<registry name>" (without the quotation marks). For example:

- To stop Microsoft Exchange services, at the command prompt, type "net stop
<registry name>" (without the quotation marks). For example:
net stop MSExchangeIS
