SYMPTOMS
========

If you open a presentation that is saved to a network server running Windows NT
Advanced Server, version 3.51 and then close it again without changing anything,
PowerPoint changes the Date Modified property of the presentation to the current
date.

This problem does not occur if you open a presentation from a computer running
Windows 95 or Windows NT, version 4.0.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at
the beginning of this article.
