SYMPTOMS
========

When you run Character Map in Pan Chinese Windows NT Workstation version 4.0
using Chinese (Taiwan) locale, the displayed Chinese characters and the selected
Chinese characters do not match.

When you open Character Map, select a character, and then click Copy, the wrong
character is copied to the Characters to Copy text box.

The Chinese (PRC) and (Hong Kong) locales do not have this problem.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at
the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
