SYMPTOMS

After adding a new row to a table with the RDC, navigating through the resultset
may yield an error such as "Invalid result set state for Update."
STATUS
======
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the
beginning of this article. This bug has been corrected in version 5.00.3817 of
the file msrdc20.ocx which is included in Visual Studio 97 Service Pack 1.
