SYMPTOMS
========

Using an OLE container control bound to the Remote Data Control that ships with
Visual Basic 5.0 Enterprise Edition could result in a memory leak. This problem
does not occur when using an OLE container with a standard data control.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are
listed at the beginning of this article.

This bug has been corrected in the version of msrdc20.ocx included in Visual
Studio 97 Service Pack 2.
