SYMPTOMS

Administrators of the Microsoft Exchange Server Internet Mail Connector (IMC)
will find message importance levels are mishandled under specific circumstances.
CAUSE
=====
The problem occurs when delivery notices (DNs) and read notices (RNs) are
included with messages sent to Exchange Server users over the IMC.
STATUS
======
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server
version 4.0 for Windows NT.

The non-delivery report comes back with no exclamation point and the non-read
notification comes back with the exclamation point.
