SYMPTOMS
========

When you try to use Network Device Interface Specification (NDIS) miniport
network adapter drivers on a Windows 95-based computer, programs using multicast
networking may be unable to register multiple multicast addresses for the
network adapter.

STATUS
======

This problem no longer occurs in Windows 98. To resolve this problem, install
the current version of Windows. For information about the current version of

================

A multicast address is associated with a group of network nodes or stations.
Packets sent to a multicast address are expected to be received by all stations
on the network segment or ring that have the specified multicast address
registered.
