SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to use Direct Cable Connection to connect to a host computer,
you may receive one of the following error messages:

- Parallel cable on LPT<n> disconnected

- Cannot find host computer

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if your computer has the same computer name as the host
computer.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, change the computer name of your computer. To do so,
follow these steps:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click
  Network.

2. Click the Identification tab.

3. In the Computer Name box, type a unique computer name, and then click OK.

4. Restart your computer.
