SYMPTOMS
========

When you click a Web link on the Favorites menu in MSN, The Microsoft Network,
Program Viewer, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:

- You may connect to a random Web page you previously visited.

- If you click any Web link on the Favorites menu, you connect to the same
  random Web page during the current MSN session.

- You cannot type Web page addresses in Program Viewer's address box.

Note that none of these symptoms occur when you click a Web link on the Favorites
menu in Microsoft Internet Explorer.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if more than 400 files and folders are located inside
the Windows\Favorites folder.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this problem, reduce the number of files and folders located inside
the Windows\Favorites folder to less than 400.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in The Microsoft Network, version
2.5.
