SYMPTOMS
========

The Microsoft ActiveX UserConnection causes a general protection fault (GPF)
when you use Multiple Queries.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the
beginning of this article. We are researching this bug and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior
---------------------------

1. Create a new Standard EXE project. Form1 is created by default.

2. From the Project menu, point to More ActiveX Designers and click Add
  Microsoft UserConnection.

3. Make sure that "Use ODBC Datasource" is selected.

4. Select Nwind DSN from the list box. If no DSN is found, click NEW to create
  one.

5. Click OK to close the dialog box.

6. Select Insert Multiple Queries from the toolbar.

7. Add "Employee Sales by Country" from the Available column to the Add column.

8. Click OK. An empty message box appears.

9. Click OK. The following error is returned:

  An Application error has occurred.

  NOTE: This error does not occur in Visual Basic 5.0. It also does not occur if
  you use SQL instead of Jet.
