SYMPTOMS
========

When Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel or
others such as PaintBrush are started through Remote Control, a Systems
Management Server client running on a NEC PC98 platform may stop responding
suddenly. The client computer must then be restarted.


STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Systems Management
Server version 1.2. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. service
pack for Microsoft Systems Management Server version 1.2. For information on
