SYMPTOMS
========

When you insert a caption in a Word document, Word applies the Caption style to
the current paragraph.

CAUSE
=====

When you insert a caption, Word applies the Caption style to the caption line or
the current paragraph containing the insertion point.

WORKAROUND
==========

To work around this behavior, use either of the following methods before you
insert a caption:

- Click to select the item that is to be captioned.

  -or-

- Move the insertion point to a blank line before you insert the caption.
