SYMPTOMS
========

When you install Microsoft MapPoint, you may be prompted to install Microsoft
Internet Explorer 5 after you accept the terms of the End User License Agreement
(EULA).

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if Internet Explorer 3.01 or earlier is installed on
your computer.

STATUS
======

This behavior is by design.

MORE INFORMATION
================

If Internet Explorer 3.02 or later is installed on your computer, only the HTML
Help component of Internet Explorer 5 (which is needed to use MapPoint online
Help) is installed by MapPoint Setup.
