SYMPTOMS
========

When you play Microsoft Midtown Madness, you may encounter any of the following
symptoms:

- Random geometric shapes may be displayed on the screen.

- Screen elements such as clouds may flicker or not be displayed properly.

- Textures may not be displayed properly.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if your display adapter does not support the display
settings selected in the game.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, set the Texture Quality setting to Low and the Resolution
setting to 512 x 384 pixels. To do this, follow these steps:

1. On the Midtown Madness startup screen, click Options.

2. Click Graphics Options.

3. Under Texture Quality, click Low.

4. Under Resolution, click 512 x 384.

5. Click Done.

If the problem continues to occur, follow these steps:

1. On the Midtown Madness startup screen, click Options.

2. Click Graphics Options.

3. Under Renderer, click Software Renderer.

4. Click Done.
