SYMPTOMS
========

The Year 2000 (Y2K) compliance queries provided with Systems Management Server
2.0 may fail to complete when executed. These queries create very large
temporary tables in the tempdb database, causing it to become very large and
ultimately run out of space. The queries will then fail to complete.

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Systems Management

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server 2.0.
