When you double-click a shortcut to an article in Encarta Encyclopedia 2000,
Encarta Encyclopedia 99 may start unexpectedly and prompt you with the following
message:

Insert Encarta Encyclopedia 99 Disc 1.

You can click OK or Cancel. If you insert the Encarta Encyclopedia 99 Disc 1
CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive and then click OK, Encarta Encyclopedia 99 starts,
and you experience one of the following symptoms:

- The Encarta Encyclopedia 99 home page opens and you receive the following
  error message:

  Invalid URL

Encarta Encyclopedia cannot process this link request. This link is either
  invalid or outdated.

When you click OK, you return to the home page.

- The article linked to the shortcut opens in Encarta Encyclopedia 99.

If you click Cancel, you receive the following error message:

Encarta Encyclopedia cannot find the files needed to start.

Either the disc is not inserted, or the path to the files is incorrect. To
correct this, insert the disc or run Setup again.

If you click OK, Encarta quits and you return to the desktop.
