SYMPTOMS
========

After applying Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4 (SP4) or 5 (SP5), the
"Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" option is enabled, even
if it was disabled before applying the service pack.

CAUSE
=====

The service pack installation program does not check the status of this option,
and enables it regardless of the setting.

RESOLUTION
==========

Windows NT Server or Workstation 4.0

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT 4.0 and Windows NT
Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition.

This problem was first corrected in Windows NT Server 4.0 Service Pack 6 and
Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition Service Pack 6.
