You can create a Microsoft MapPoint map within a Microsoft Office 2000 program.
To do this:

1. Start the Office program within which you want to create a MapPoint map.

2. On the Insert menu, click Object.

3. On the Create New tab, click Microsoft MapPoint Map in the "Object type" box,
  and then click OK.

4. Create the map in the same manner that you would create it in MapPoint.
