SYMPTOMS
========
When you start a program (for example, Microsoft Word) as a COM object from a
Terminal Server session client, the user environment variables are not inherited
by this instance of the program. If you start the same program from the Terminal
Server console, the user environment variables are inherited.
RESOLUTION
==========
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT Server
version 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. For additional information, please see the

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are
