SYMPTOMS
========

After an explosion occurs in Microsoft Fighter Ace II, the display may appear
distorted and parts of the explosion graphic may remain on the screen.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if an ATI Rage II+ video adapter is installed in the
computer.

RESOLUTION
==========

To work around this issue, configure Fighter Ace to use software rendering:

1. Start Fighter Ace II.

2. On the startup screen, click the Settings tab.

3. Under Display, click Software.
