SYMPTOMS
========
In Microsoft MapPoint 2001, you may receive the following error message if you
click a map shortcut in the text balloon of a pushpin
Unable to open "%|
file:\\<shortcut>".
where <shortcut> is the path to the map shortcut on the hard disk.
CAUSE
=====
This behavior can occur if you created the map shortcut in MapPoint 2001.
RESOLUTION
==========
To work around this issue, edit the map shortcut to refer to the map that you
want to display.
