SYMPTOMS

If the user who is running Performance Monitor does not have Power User or
Administrator privileges, the Redirector Object counter in Performance Monitor
displays zeroes.
CAUSE
=====
You must have Power User or Administrator privileges to open a handle to the
Redirector device object.
