SYMPTOMS

After installing MSN Explorer over MSN Internet Access 2.6, the Outlook Express
desktop shortcut produces an error that the shortcut it invalid and begins
searching.

RESOLUTION
==========
Set the Outlook Express shortcut target back to default. For Windows 9x
1. Right-click the Outlook Express Icon on the desktop and then click
Properties.
2. Under the Shortcut tab in the box labeled Target type
C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe
3. Click Ok.
For Windows 2000
1. Right-click the Outlook Express Icon on the desktop and then click
Properties.
2. Under the Shortcut tab in the box labeled Target type
%ProgramFiles%\Outlook Express\msimn.exe
3. Click Ok.
