MSN version 5.3 has removed the Connection Settings box from the Quick View
icon. MSN 5.3 depends on the Windows idle time settings feature.
To remove the idle time settings in MSN version 5.3:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Internet Options and then click the Connections tab
3. Select MSN (default), click Settings and then click Advanced.
4. If using Internet Explorer 5.x, clear the Disconnect if idle for # minutes
checkbox, clear the Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed
checkbox, and then click OK.

If using Internet Explorer 4.x, clear the Disconnect if idle for # minutes
checkbox and then click OK.
5. Click OK, click OK again, and then close the Control Panel.
