SYMPTOMS
========

When you play Microsoft Midtown Madness 2, the Force Feedback check box may be
unavailable and there may be no forces in the game.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if both of the following conditions are true:

- A Microsoft Force Feedback 2 or a Microsoft Force Feedback Wheel game
  controller is connected to a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port on your
  computer.

- A digital or analog game controller is connected to the game port on the
  sound card.

RESOLUTION
==========

To work around this issue, quit the game, disconnect the game controller from
the game port on the sound card, and then restart the game.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Midtown Madness 2.
