SYMPTOMS
========
This is the current situation:
1. Sign in to MSN Explorer 6.1.
2. Click on the E-mail icon.
3. While Explorer is downloading and synchronizing e-mail, click the "Put in
Folder" button. This can cause MSN Explorer to freeze. The only way to shut
MSN Explorer is by using the Windows Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DELETE).
4. In Task Manager, select Inbox- My E-mail and click the End Task button.
RESOLUTION
==========
Upgrading from Internet Explorer 5.0 to Internet Explorer 5.5 may resolve this
issue. You can obtain Internet Explorer 5.5 for free by downloading from
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/.
