SYMPTOMS
========

You install MSN Explorer on a computer running Micrsoft Windows 95 or 98. An
icon for MSN Explorer appears in the Quick Launch area of the Taskbar (the
section to the right of the Start button that includes a collection of icons).
You upgrade to Microsoft Windows 2000. The icon for MSN Explorer is missing from
Quick Launch.

CAUSE
=====

This is a known issue.

RESOLUTION
==========

To replace the MSN Explorer icon on the Quick Launch portion of the Taskbar

1. On your desktop, right-click on the MSN Explorer icon, and then click Create
  Shortcut.
  A new icon for MSN Explorer will appear on your desktop.

2. Select the MSN Explorer icon, and drag the icon to an empty space in the
  Quick Launch portion of the Taskbar.
  An MSN icon will now appear in the Quick Launch portion of the Taskbar.
