The minimum requirements for connecting to MSN Internet Access are as follows:

- Macintosh OS 9.x

- A paying MSN Internet Access account

- A modem with the minimum baud rate of 28.8 Kbps

- A modem with the minimum baud rate of 28.8 Kbps

- Internet Explorer 5.x

- Outlook Express 5.0.4

To configure TCP/IP in Macintosh OS 9.x

1. On the Apple menu, select Control Panels, and click TCP/IP.

2. On the File menu, click Configurations?.

3. Select any configuration listed, and then click Duplicate.

4. Type a name for the new configuration, and then click OK (recommended name:
  MSN Internet Access).

5. Select the configuration, and then click Make Active.

6. After Connect via:, select PPP.

7. After Configure:, select Using PPP Server.

8. Close the TCP/IP window.

9. When prompted to Save changes to the current configuration?, click Save.
