The minimum requirements for Macintosh Internet Explorer 5.x are as follows:

- Macintosh Operating System 7.6.1 or later

- 8 MB or RAM with virtual memory enabled

- 12 MB of available hard disk space for Internet Explorer

- QuickTime version 3.0 or later

- Open Transport 1.2 or later (for dial up connections)

- OT Point to Point Protocol (PPP) or similar PPP connection software (control
  panel) with PPP (extension)

- 28.8 kbps modem or higher

- Access to the Internet through an Internet service provider (ISP) or the

To change the default Download Location in Internet Explorer 5.x

1. Start Internet Explorer.

2. Click Edit, and then click Preferences.

3. In Preferences, double-click the Receiving Files menu.

4. Under Receiving Files, select Download Options.

5. Click Change Location.

6. Browse to the desired location, and then click Choose.

7. Click OK to close the Internet Explorer Preferences window.
